You clearly don't have a clue what you are talking about. There are brand new limos being imported into the UK all the time and although I don't have any figures I would guess that the vast majority of limos being imported in the last couple of years have been 3 years old or less.
I was at Ascot on ladies day and I would guess that at least 35% of all the limos there were less than 3 years old and a further 50% would be less than 8 years old.

You see now TOM THUMB if you like to check facts and read the posts properly and im sure Grandad could back up all his facts too or are you going to challenge him to a duel too, can i give you a bit of advice for free, you seem to like to have a go at law abiding citizens and have no hope of beating us therefore you start posting crap about us, in future leave us alone get on with your own life and you might just one day prosper, now take care im not participating in this anymore as it will as ever become a war of words, kind regards fella

Oh my Kermie. I get so aroused when you get aggresive. I can almost hear those gold chains around your neck clanking as you type. And your platinum rings rattle on your fingers.

I dispute what Grandad said about Ascot totally. I stood and talked to the Windsor and Maidenhead enforcement officer for 40 minutes on Ladies Day. He was full of compliments for the quality of the vehicles.....NOT.

And as for me reading the post before I answer how about you.

I clearly asked 'name an operator who has purchased a brand new limo and put it on the road in the uk'? I didn't ask who had one they claimed was less than two years old.

At the Limo show two years ago I was told it didn't happen by theman on the Hummer stand.

With used imports how can you be sure about the track record of the vehicle.

Ah i see so writing facts and not fiction in your opinion is classed as being aggressive, you really are a strange fella now

As for this part of your post (I clearly asked 'name an operator who has purchased a brand new limo and put it on the road in the uk'? I didn't ask who had one they claimed was less than two years old.) This is exactly my point but your too thick to notice your own mistakes, i have never said at any stage that i know of an operator who has done this!!!!!!! NOW READ THE POSTS PROPERLY OR GO TO SPECSAVERS

I never said you had claimed that.

I just asked you to identify someone in the industry who brought new cars and didn't import second hand ones.

My point is that in this country it is a cheapskate, glitzy product aimed at trashy, cheap punters.

Well dont aim those posts at me then, and as ever fella i reiterate this is your opinion and i wont knock you for having an opinion, i just wont put up with the crud that you sometimes type which isn't factual, i will always defend those types of posts in order to give people the facts, its inevitable that someone who clearly hates limos as you do will always only ever type half the facts that suit your needs or opinion, thats life i guess

I have a brand new Chrysler 300 stretched limousine in my garage as we speak. It is just waiting for it's SVA appointment before it gets registered.
Maybe you could contact Style limousines in Manchester and ask them how many new limos they bring in, A1 in Hemel Hempstead also bring in a lot. Then there is limoworld..............I could go on but I think this is enough for now.

A stretch Chrysler     And who mentioned trashy.

So we have two at least. That is a starter.

Sure am a Snob GBC. I bet you don't stop for a bloke with a pint of beer in his hand do you.

For the Stretch brigade it is compulsory. The bubbly isn't on ice. It is just a sign to show punters where the sick bucket is.

You are a little out of date. Chrysler C300's are passing the SVA without any problems now. It has been in my garage for 2 weeks waiting for the appointment that takes about 6 weeks to come through.
By the way, it isn't mine. i personally don't like them but each to their own.

Refusal is a luxury that many cab drivers can ill affored because the reality is that in many authorities any flagger no matter what they are eating or drinking is a welcome sight. You should be thankfull that you can affored to bypass pound notes, because many can't.

Just like the Taxi, private hire trade and buses, there will be many limos who don't comply with regulations. However once caught, I doubt many will be in a hurry to expose themselves to the same situation again.
