Fry does America in a black cab SPY

Stephen Fry (right) is off to tour America - in a London black cab. In one of the more bizarre programme ideas to come out of Broadcasting House, the polymath comic will crisscross the country from the dubious luxury of a hackney carriage.

"I'll be visiting each state, hearing its song, visiting its landmarks and distinctive sites, looking at its unique and quaint laws, and talking to citizens,'' says Fry.

Let's just hope that he keeps one eye on his speedometer. After a spot of over-exuberance on the A1065 last December, Fry was banned from driving for six months.

I wonder if he has a driver, six foot four and a half inches tall!! I may offer my services to the BBC,with the money they take for a Licence these days I feel they owe the whole nation a holiday, still Stephen Fry is okay and to be honest you could be stuck in a taxi with someone you couldn't have a good conversation with.

Place your bets on how far the TX will go before something goes wrong with it     :D
I think the bookies would open a book on it, they like daft bets that they can win, I would say 25/1 Ohio
