Case law stolen from Taxi Driver online by Mr Wayne Casey of the National Taxi association has surfaced on the National Taxi association web site. The cases which were enhanced by JD's specialised formating and made available in Electronic format were taken without permission and placed on the NTA Website without acknowledgment to the enhanced work created by JD.

JD said Taxi driver online is an open forum and one of its main aims is to enhance the knowledge of every taxi driver in the country by making them aware of the rules and regulations which affect them.

JD said the National Taxi Association should be ashamed of itself and its secretary Mr Tim Gray himself a solicitor, should know better. JD also said that "The NTA is an organisation that numbers approximately 1,250 hackney carriage owners from about 80 or so taxi associations throughout England and Wales, JD is of the opinion that from his experience many NTA members are in dire need of an educational upgrade but although he spent many hours reformatting the case law and adding personal comment he hopes the stolen case law will have a beneficial affect on NTA members understanding of the hackney carriage industry.

The stolen documents can be accessed here.

I a surprise move today the administration officer of the NTA, Mr Wayne Casey, thanked JD for his positive comments and input.

Mr Casey was quoted as saying;

I think JD is a splendid fellow and his knowledge of the taxi trade is to be admired, the way he tirelessly keeps us all informed of trade events, caselaw and news, should be appreciated by all.

If Taxi Driver Online wishes to have a reciprical link to the NTA website I would be delighted to arrange this. I duly wish to apologise for any distress caused and will willingly deposit a sum of money to a charity of taxi driver online's choice by way of recompense.

The acknowledgements of the judgements to this site is most welcomed.

And should you wish to put a donation into the next charity box you see, then please feel free to do so. :wink:
