Meaning Mr Dawg, that there is no interest by the vast majority of the trade.

I think you will find that a universal position concerning the whole taxi/PH trade.

Nothing in the Courier about Tuesday's meeting, but this is on the BBC site:

The union/association might be in a mess, but it's the situation with the council/police/touting that needs sorting, and IMO the drivers should be fighting those issues not one another.

If only for a few weeks.

I attended the meeting in the Dee Club last night and there was nothing like 150 people in attendance, I can also predict rolling road block and strike action will be a disaster.

It looks like the sensible people will be working and the jackasses who have been in PH organisation's in the past will be telling anyone who will listen we tried but got no support, the reason they will get no support is that they are complete idiots.

Why alienate the trade??????

You had a chance to say everything you have said on here & didn't !
Surely the Dee Club last night was a better platform for your soapbox than an online forum that not everybody in Dundee knows about !!

Why should I stand and speak my mind and be abused for it,my mind was made up when I asked where a certain leader of the DTA was only to be informed he was at IBROX supporting his team.

Well if he was concerned about our right's and earnings then why was he at IBROX???????????????????

Why dont you blockade fat Sam's, by ranking up outside it, as a hack you can ply for hire anywhere, or block the entrance or exit, to prevent them getting in

Sounds like obstruction?

In which case the police would be down like a ton of bricks.

It's a bit like private cars parked on ranks - the police will do nothing, but if the car was hemmed in by taxis then they'd send the riot squad round.

You could always use a couple of large vans where the driver walks to the nearest chippy:wink:
Well Sussex, outside fat Sam's, if PC plod turns up and asks what are you doing there , I am waiting on a fare, and whats the name, MR anybody, and friends
