Are we now to believe that TDO ............. and TDO alone, is the only place that links to websites offering trade services to a site involved in the same trade.

Maybe people should understand that "taxis" took the DSA driving test to improve his own skills, without it being a requirement of his licensing authority should be applauded. Particularly when so much publicity has surrounded the failure rate of +70%.

"taxis" phoned me when he finished his test .................. he had failed on

1. cutting a painted mini-roundabout (ie. his offside wheels touched the paint).
2. crossing lanes on a roundabout to early, when instructed to turn off at the third exit.
3. stopping adjacent to a junction when instructed to turn right, when the right turning was a one way street.

He was thanked by the examiner for a "very pleasant drive".

The "witch-hunt" mentality of certain members of this forum will to this forums detriment .............................. to ridicule a fellow taxi-driver for showing initiative and trying to improve his skills and therefore the level of service he offers his customers is absolutely appauling.

A sad day indeed.

Mr GA, both you and I know he got the info from TDO.

Both you and I know he only had to ask.

Both you and I know he is acting the tit.

So stop pi**ing about.

What info Sussex ................... some links to taxi service industry websites ?

Seems a massive over-reaction by yourselves to be honest ............. maybe you can explain your actions, as I won't speak to "taxis" till tomorrow.

B. honest :?

No the links to the judgement JD has put up for everyone to see freely.

Even the Captain acknowledges the ones he got from here.

The massive over-reaction was from the big baby who started deleting/editing his post which made some of the threads look gooble-de-gook.

As I said he and anyone else can take what they like from here, IMO, but FFS at least have the courtesy to say where they got it from.

And especially don't change it to try and mug people into thinking you did all the graft to get it. [-X

Of course all of that doesn't apply to me.

Ga is this the advanced DSA test or the same one everyone takes.
The roundabout could be painted wrong, and the lines at the junction, and as for turning right if there is something coming you have to stop to let it past, seem extremely nit picky that examiner

It was the specific DSA driving test for Taxis (and possibly PH).

If the lines are painted wrong then you would still need to follow that indication.

As far as your other observation about turning right ............. the street he was asked to turn into was a one way street, so nothing should have been coming out of it. (I suppose thats the "trick")

I agree that the examiner was "nit-picky" ............ and that is why I do not support the manditory requirement for the DSA test in its current form.

However I do think that driver competancy testing is a good idea in principle ................. we just need to put ourselves into a position where we can influence the exact requirements the examiners expect.

So why maintain a facility that allows you to edit or remove posts?

GA about 16 years ago I took an advanced driving test, along with an obstacle course that covered judging the width of the gap in relation to the vehicles width from 200 yards and you had to just drive without stopping 1 inch either side :D then maneuver around cones forward and back emergency braking without hitting the examiner, feck missed again  and loads more maneuvers
then a 1 hour driving assessment, they only thing that I was doing slightly wrong was instead of griping the gear selector over the top i griped it as if pulling the arm of a slot machine
other than that I passed

No, he blatantly copied large swathes of the links page - he could at least have tried to change the descriptions a bit to make it look less obvious :?

So he received a polite private message and sent rather hostile ones in return then started deleting all his posts.

The party overreacting is obvious. [-(

And it was also obvious who would join him

Maybe you'd consider that links to a website, shown on your website, to be worthy of so much protection ......................... I just fail to see the signifigance or understand the magnitude of your actions.

If he was suspected of removing site content, or material that was unique to this site then I would understand .............. but come on, its only links to other sites which he could have put on his own site without having to consult you first anyway.

Again I'm critised for asking for explanation for the administrative actions of this site ...................... am I next to be banned  for daring to question.
