I think if a local PH firm starting ranking up in front of the biggest nightclub in your manor, you and your colleagues wouldn't be best pleased.

Is a strike a winning formula? IMO no, but the Dundee lads have used the press successfully in a way someone else from Scotland does.

ok grandad ha ha bit drunk watching the match..sussex ur right we aren't pleased at all but we are trying everthing we can the council have wrecked dundee's trade and if they won't give, what option do we have..i have saw 203020 ph pick up and believe me we do know they are doing it bcos customers they have picked up have told us, when you say something you get the finger, they think they are untouchble thats what's pi****g us off but you have to go through the channels which we are doing so we shall see whats next...

just home from monitoring strike..out of 570 hacks, we counted 20 working..success or what ? and jasbar we are all business men just like any shop or pub or whatever..we all need the public for money !
police HQ overloaded and still fares on streets..now the PH'S may well have made money tonight but, the amount of them caught illegally picking up was very disturbing.
so where is their regard for public safety ? truth..they will answer to the beaks when all reports are filed ..at least we put morals before money eh ???

The proof kid is all hacks that did work..their plate numbers have been noted and will be named and shamed.all 20 o them !

and all PH'S caught operating illegally had plate no..time..and street or rank of pick up noted, and will be reported on monday..

every car that monitored the strike was armed with camera, notepad and witness..

I'll bet that the council won't take any notice whatsoever of your pictures and witnesses. I doubt that a photo taken from a distance away and a witness statement that they saw a car pick up a passenger will be proof that it wasn't a pre booked fare.
