If I were to express my true feelings on this subject, there would be an awful lot of [edited by admin] in the text so I will restrain myself.

So there I was driving along Newland today, thinking to myself that it was looking like a pretty good day, when an old Mondeo pulled out of Orchard Street to turn right without bothering to look to see if anything, (ME! ME!) was coming. I braked, like you do, but I broadsided him. When I was about to get out to survey the damage he dissapeared like a bat out of hell into the distance. Terrific, I thought. But clocked his registration. Four witnesses appeared from all directions, giving me details of the crash, and names and addresses too. Thanks for your help folks, But is this going to cost me my NCB? The Police attended, when I told them I was injured, and went to visit the registered keeper, who was not at home. (surprise, surprise.) Because I don't have the other drivers details, I cannot get a replacement vehicle. At the moment my insurance company sees this as a MY fault rather than a no fault accident, because I am unable to give them the other drivers details.
