Colleague of mind is looking to change his old TX1 for a newer type of vehicle. Not a TX4.
Has anyone got any views on the new E7 or TW2000?

Go for the E7, or get a small bank loan and give the TX1 a refurb

A mate of mine ordered a TW200 new shape stretch version in July 2007, and Patons have told him he should get in late Jan 2008.

Shower of sh** methinks.

It will be a rarity indeed to see a licensed stretch.

The E7 is looking really good, and there are different wheelbase lengths available.

Looks far better than the old shape.

But they are at least 10 grand cheaper, able to take up to 8 punters, and about 10mpg better to run.

Over the course of 5/6/7 years that will save you well in excess the benefits of a TX resale value.

Actually the E7 isn't that cheap any more looking at 25 -£27999 now! (think of depriciation, Tx4 silver £32000), and there ain't no electric doors as someone mentioned on here before and when cab direct tried to show me the electric step it didn't work and that was on three of the cabs they had in their show room(if you could call it a showroom, more like an old warehouse)

Sadly there dosen't seem anything in the trade out there thats worth buying but we have no choice but to settle for second best!!!!
