Has anybody rebuilt their cab i,e stripped out old tx2 ford engine gearbox suspension etc, and rebuilt it with up todat technology i,e new euro 4 emmisions engine and is it allowed?

If you want to go down that route the engine and gearbox from the Nissan Navara will fit, but you will have to get a dam good mechanic to sort out all the wiring and fuel system and prop shaft and dont forget the immobiliser when you strip it down, you will more than likely get one from a scrappy's
and could be a cheaper way of going about it, remember the tx1 had the older Nissan engine failing that try a Toyota one from the same type of pick up that they had on top gear
