Thank you for the invitation it is very thoughtful, unfortunately I do not wish to be anywhere near your moron in chief, although I wish you the best of luck with your campaign.

Mind you, I suppose when you find out about the CDRP scheme and the funding it has created in many areas towards cameras and taxi marshals etc you'll find that local government and national government are already trying to assist the taxi trade.

I understand what the campaign is about, but would point out taxi and ph licensing is a localised issue, I cannot imagine any decent local authority refusing a camera system or driver shield, and I believe the various acts of parliament permit a driver to appeal a refusal.

But the point is that many local authorities allow cameras and shields and still drivers don't fit them to their vehicles.....the question is why?

Price? I don't believe this is now a problem as many camera systems also offer easy terms.

Another question is what the GMBPDB expect the government to do?

Stiffer sentences perhaps? but that would mean that a driver has already been attacked, and as I am sure you will agree, its the prevention we all want.

Unfortunately this is slightly more difficult as its a social problem (in my opinion), sometimes alcohol related and sometimes drug related. For the answer to that one you need to go far beyond the mere cab driver.

A group of flesh eating zombies have gate crashed the Drivers National Safety Meeting, FOX News reports.

Drooling and gnawing on a bone, Emperor Terrance said he was disgusted at the antics of the disorganized rabble.

At one point the zombies mingled unnoticed amongst the crowd before one savvy junior party member raised the alarm.
