We don't have to.

It's already been done. It doesn't matter what the current situ is. That's irrelevant.

Well yes he got his plate.

As for what he did subsequently, well he did what every other plate-holder can do.

Are you saying plates shouldn't be transferred? :?

Not at all Sussex,if you want a plate you buy one.As i have said before,"Ali T got his plate through the council's own mistake, and well done him".
I'm just glad the council see them for what they are and knowing they will not get a FREE plate. :D

Except plates can't be bought and sold. They are not transferrable are they. So, how can you buy one if they are not transferrable?

No point rehearsing this argument with you again saf. You're too thick to understand logic.

But the plate IS the company. What would the company be worth without the plate? Zilch. Nothing. Nego.

Isn't it curious that in other licensed areas, where there is no restriction on numbers, the licence is usually held by an individual?

However, we know it would take a court to rule on it. And who is going to take the matter there? So, you're safe in your little illusion.

For now, that is

i dont agree that someone who wants a plate and not be forces to pay 50k+ should get one then sell it.
its a total joke that you fight to stop a system you dont agree with then use it to line your own pockets and dont give me the "he did what every other plate-holder can do" line.

its a case of the kettle calling the pot black

No, it's using the system which you adhere to.

You don't like the system, then change it. De-restrict the plates and let's all work on an even playing field.

But wait, this is what you don't want to do, isn't it. You want the restriction so you can keep your plate value. You need the system to maintain your own greed. You need the system to prop up your own illusion.

How does it feel to be greedy, selfish and stupid Chipper?
