It is a bit of a minefield, if someone pays in a foreign currency the Driver will face a charge at the Bureau de Change so could that be added as the resultant fare received would only be the correct amount.

If a passenger pays in any way other than cash (Sterling), the conversion should be charged to the payer, not the payee. I therefore think that the LO is wrong in this instance. The passenger paying the bank charge results in the correct fare being received.

So all we need is matching systems, cards that work, passengers that can remember their PIN numbers (nad are in credit) and a signal for the machine to work....instead of...

That is what I would have thought but oh no, they want passport or driving license number, copies of bank statements, utility bills etc, in fact just about everything needed to steal your identity. I have kicked this into the long grass.

Paypal do a payment device and/or an app


But id just ask for a BACS payment which i can view on my phone app
