Re wav`s,
I worked with a guy in Dundee for a number of years, who now works with Tay taxis, he runs a wav,he went to the end of the earth to accommodate the disabled,he hiked from one end of the town to the other for belters,he also, with my help, built up a good customer base and a good account base,he worked hard and spent a lot of time and effort to get a good business built up.
Having spoke to a few "new" plates this week they are not interested in building up disabled work they and i quote"`e`ll no dae wheelchairs unless eh have tae,em not wanting f####d aboot when its busy".Most of them will not get f####d about as they will go on the streets or with an office that`s not interested in running a booking system solely for wav`s(unlike we did a few years ago).
So nothing is going to change significantly for the disabled customer until all the vehicles in Dundee are wav`s.
BE HAPPY

Had a bloke in my cab tonight just moved in our english patch from Dundee, I asked him about all this about taxis there.
Dundee he said was a [edited by admin] hole, even the birds fly upside down cos theres nothing worth [edited by admin] on, you lot here have it made its lovely and all the people are friendly and you taxi drivers here are salt of the earth, help courteous and can converse.
then he said dundee is the three js
jam, jute, and journalism.
hes looking forward to having english children.
